Leasing & Co-boarding

Charmed by Chance

Leasing a horse, sometimes referred to as co-boarding, can give you a taste of horse ownership without the long-term financial responsibility of purchasing one yourself.  This is often the ideal approach for those parents or riders who may want their own horse someday, but would like to "try it out" before taking on the full commitment of ownership. It may also be the solution for those who can afford a monthly payment obligation, but are not ready to buy a horse of their own. By co-boarding, or leasing, you have the opportunity and pleasure of spending time with these beautiful animals, grooming and riding...and just enjoying them, without such associated expenses as the inevitable vet and farrier bills.

Your monthly fee at Kilsallagh Farm includes shared access to your horse, all the tack necessary to ride, a practice ring and scenic trail system. All horse expenses, e.g. vet, farrier, feed, hay, muck out, etc. are included in the monthly cost.  Training is available, though at an additional price, arranged directly with the trainer.

Should you want to bring a guest along for a trail ride, you can - with advance notice - book another horse for the outing.
